Biography    

Eng. Hassan Aboelnga is the Vice Chairman of the Middle East Water Forum (MEWF) and one of the Emerging Water Leaders in the Middle East.

Mr. H. Aboelnga is a PhD researcher at University of Kassel and TH Köln in Germany with a particular interest in urban water security issues. Aboelnga is a management committee member of water safety plan, intermittent water supply, and public and customer communications specialist groups at International Water Association IWA. He is a civil engineer by profession and certified project management professional (PMP)® and has been an active in the international level as emerging water leader in issues of water security, climate change and sustainable development. He has a strong academic background, Bachelor of civil engineering from Mansoura University , master courses in construction management from Cairo University in Egypt and IWRM masters of science from technical University of Cologne (TH Köln) and University of Jordan, including international professional trainings in water related issues. He has been an active member of many international organizations and actively engaged in many International conferences as young water professional . He has published research papers, blog articles and co-authored book recently on water energy food security Nexus security.
