Abu Dhabi, UAE — The 3rd MENA Stormwater Forum with the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure (MOEI) participating as Event Partner will take place on 03–04 June 2026 at Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers, Abu Dhabi, UAE, bringing together government authorities, developers, consultants, contractors, utilities, and technology providers to address the region’s evolving stormwater and urban flood resilience challenges.
Held under the theme “Future-Proofing Through Integrated Stormwater Solutions,” the forum has established itself as a leading UAE platform for advancing stormwater management, fostering innovation, and driving collaboration across sustainable urban infrastructure. The event will focus on the practical strategies, technologies, and partnerships needed to support resilient city planning in coastal and desert environments.
The 2026 edition will explore key topics including urban flood risk mitigation, municipal regulations, stormwater infrastructure for mega-projects, flood monitoring and forecasting, AI and IoT-enabled predictive management, Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems, Low Impact Development, modular drainage solutions, utility mapping, and public-private partnerships.
As cities across the MENA region continue to experience rapid urbanization and increasing climate pressures, the forum will provide a timely platform for decision-makers to exchange insights, assess new technologies, and strengthen collaboration across the water infrastructure and utility sectors.
